More Than Just Language Courses

Parallel to learning the German language, participants in the Integration Course A1 become familiar with the everyday life and values of Austrians. This knowledge helps them orient themselves confidently in the specifics of Austrian life from the very first day.

What exactly does this mean?

1. The Ability to Keep a Conversation Going

Mini-dialogues about nothing – one of the most important peculiarities of European life. Whether it's about the weather or the exchange rate, about well-being or work – it's much easier to give a quick, polite, and relevant answer to the subject than you might have thought.

2. The Ability to Schedule a Meeting

Meetings or, as it is called in German, appointments, are one of the most important aspects in German-speaking countries. An appointment is needed for a doctor's visit, a hairdresser's appointment, or even for meeting friends.

3. Handling Bank Transfers and Statements Confidently

In Austria, there is a lot of bureaucracy, including in banking matters. The ability to extract all relevant information from a bank statement and transfer money from one account to another is essential if you want to stay in this country for a longer period.

4. Navigating Public Transport Schedules

Switching from the S-Bahn to the U-Bahn, then to the bus, then back to the U-Bahn, and then renting a bike to get to work – at first, it seems impossible. But navigating the complicated schedule and city map is much easier than it seems at first glance.

5. Communication with Government Offices

The need to constantly contact numerous offices and officials is part of everyday life in Austria.

6. Ordering Online

Easy, fast, and delivered to your doorstep – we will teach you how to place an order, cancel it, or exchange it.

The Integration Course German for Foreigners in Vienna is a simple means to prepare for immigration and to feel confident in the new homeland from the first day!
