Vouchers for German courses from MA 17

MA 17 - Integration and Diversity enables holders of Vienna Language Vouchers to participate in a discounted language course for new immigrants within the framework of the Integration Agreement IV (2017).

They can receive a language voucher in the amount of 100 or 150 euros from MA 17. (German courses at levels A1, A2 and B1 are subsidized).

Who receives the Vienna language voucher?

The Vienna Language Voucher is a one-time support for the following people who have newly immigrated to Vienna in the last 2 years:

People from a third country (third-country nationals) with one of the following first residence titles:

Red-White-Red Card plus
Red-White-Red Card
Settlement permits
Family member
EU Blue Card
Article 50 TEU (Brexit)
Residence card for third-country nationals of persons with EEA or Swiss citizenship

People with citizenship of an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland with certificate of registration

How do I get a course discount with a voucher?

When registering for a language course, you indicate that you would like to use a printed language voucher. It will then remain with the language school and its cost will be deducted from the total cost of the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, one or more of your language vouchers will be stamped at the office.

How do you calculate the cost you pay?

Payment amount = course cost - value of voucher

Up to 300 Euros of the total course cost will be reimbursed to you in the form of language vouchers. You can only use one language voucher per language course.

You can exchange several German language vouchers for several language courses one after the other.
